Dolly Children's Holding Grand Opening For New PICU Lounge

Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital is holding a ribbon cutting for the new Dollywood Family Lounge in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) on Tuesday, June 2nd at 8am.

The Dollywood Family Lounge is a welcoming space designed for rest, comfort and relaxation. The lounge features a kitchenette, nourishment room, showers, sleep pods, dedicated workspaces, and washer and dryer facilities to help meet families’ needs during their stay. Last year, Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital PICU provided state-of-the-art care for over 800 patients.

The ribbon cutting with speakers will begin at 8am.
