Christina Han, D.O.

Dr. Christina Han is the Pediatric Residency Program Director and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, Knoxville. She earned her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University and completed a post-baccalaureate research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, where she conducted research in pediatric stroke and neuroepidemiology. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 and completed her pediatric residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Children’s Hospital in 2012. Dr. Han is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. At Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital, Dr. Han has over a decade of experience in undergraduate and graduate medical education and has served in multiple educational leadership roles. Her academic interests include curriculum innovation, quality improvement, and fostering collaborative clinical learning environments.
