The last time we were re- authorizing her Wegovy the provider put a no on the part that said she lost the required amount of weight. Once a provider does that, I cannot appeal. Tricare is very generous and she met criteria. I was a prior auth nurse for many years with Tricare and know how to read their auth sheets. Katelyn had a negative vibe when we visited. Like she was upset by something. When we told her about the things we changed, she was flat and seemed unbelieving. I got the denial overturned by telling people at the clinic what was read wrong. It was not a good experience. Katelyn said the lab must have marked no. One nurse I spoke with said Katelyn would not help or discuss with us. All I wanted was to go thru the auth form with someone to walk it thru, because she did meet. I'm not enjoying Katelyn like we did at first after the encounter yesterday.

She really was great about questions and answers we worked thru the discussion about what was going on with my child.

Our provider is always more than understanding of my concerns, she addresses every concern with care, kindness, and makes us feel like she truly cares about my son's health. Our last visit I had mentioned how my son no longer had his baby face and she even took the time to pull up his profile picture. It might seem silly but it is those little things that make us love our provider.
