Matthew McCallister, M.D.

Dr. McAlister is amazing! He always takes time to talk about any questions/concerns I (or my child) has. Very knowledgeable, very professional.

Horrible bedside manner.

I've read a lot of good reviews on this doctor and was looking forward to seeing him for the first time to discuss concerns about my baby, but he wasn't very friendly. This might just be his personality but he did not smile once, he looked annoyed or upset to be there honestly. He did prescribe medication and sent an ENT referral which I appreciate, he at least didn't brush my concerns off completely. He could have been having a bad day, like I said it was my first time seeing him. We normally see Kara the NP and love her.

Dr. McCallister acted as if I was wasting his time by being there.

I will always recommend ETCH Oak Ridge.

Rushed through exam this time, said she did not have an ear infection but took her to urgent care later the same day and they said both ears were very very red and infected (less than 8 hours between appointments)

Dr McAllister should listen and try to help his patients instead of trying to act like he knows everything.

No complaints against the doctor but the rest of the staff seems to have a problem with a parent filling out paperwork and trying to give treatment to child with parent no present
