Mihail Subtirelu, M.D.

I was told I would get a follow up call Friday morning to discuss next steps. A call never happened yet the steroid was called into the pharmacy for my child. I am not sure why we didn't get the follow up to discuss that this would be the next step since this is what I was told. I like Dr. Subtirelu when we are visiting in the office. But he doesn't seem to know really what is causing the issues for my child and I sort of feel like we are shooting in the dark on treatments.

The only difficulty was his heavy accent but it was manageable and he took his time with us so we were able to clarify what we didn't understand.

Difficulty understanding

The nurse and Dr were wonderful they were both very patient and helpful

Provider stood with back against exam door as far away from patient and parent with mask on. Dismissed and questioned care received from prior nephrologist. Questioned me the parent on the history I was reviewing. Ordered labs without discussion. My daughter even said he responded to me poorly.

Doctor was very knowledgeable and shared that with me when discussing my son's condition/findings. I had some trouble understanding the doctor due to a combo of face mask and accent (if I can see lips I can work past even very thick accented English usually), but I asked clarifying questions and understood the doctor's meaning. Again, very knowledgeable and helpful doctor and would definitely see again!

I should have been told about testing being ordered.

Hes a great doctor. His bedside manner is impeccable. It appears that the practice needs more physicians in order to run efficiently. His competency does not make up for the ridiculously long wait times at each appointment.

Very thorough, polite, and genuinely cares

Every encounter has been amazing! We saw both doctors while in the hospital and they're both phenomenal. They have been patient, caring, understanding, and put our fears at ease with our child's diagnosis. We feel he's in the best of hands!

So very helpful

Hes a great doctor with wonderful bedside manner that displays his warm compassion for his patients. I shouldn't have to clear an entire morning to visit his office.
